Q: What happens if I do not like Palm Mar?
A: We will allocate a personal property finder to help you find and buy a property elsewhere, at no cost to you.
Q: How long can I stay in Palm Mar on my viewing trip?
A: You can stay as long as you want, one week is generally enough for the business side of your trip and, subject to availability, you can extend your stay with the owner of your apartment. Remember, Tenerife Property Sales will refund on completion up to
1000 Euros of the cost of your flights and accommodation.
Q: How much money do I need to bring with me for my purchase?
A: Initially all you will need is 1000 Euros for the holding deposit.
A further payment, to make the deposit up to 10%, can be sent after your return home. It is important that the remaining monies are in place before you come, so you know exactly what you can afford to spend. There is no need to transfer them until you have decided on your purchase.
Q: Can I get a mortgage in Tenerife?
A: Yes, mortgages are available for non-residents up to 70% of the bank valuation. In some cases this can be 100% of the cost. We will be able to send you a list of what information is required before you come.
